I love these boots I initially wasn’t going to write a review, but here we go. I love these boots, but they have a major flaw: they keep breaking along the seams.

PROS Cute CONS It was noted in the description of … PROSCuteCONSIt was noted in the description of this boot to order 1 size smaller because the run large. I normally wear an 8, so I ordered a 7 and they were too tight to even put a sock on with them.Problem number 2; there was a note from Nomad in the package that states “rain boots are water resistant, NOT WATERPROOF, and are not intended for extreme weather conditions or submergence”. Isn’t the point of rain boots to be water proof, not just water resistant? If I would have seen this in the description on Amazon, I would not have ordered them in the first place.

4 out of 5 Stars for My Nomad Black/Red Plaid Rain Boots – Size 7 So far, these boots are great! I bought them because our yard in western Pennsylvania turns into a swamp half of the year, and I’m tired of soaking my tennis shoes just to walk something out to our shed. So far, I haven’t had a chance to use them on a rainy day, but I have used them to shovel our snowy driveway a few times, and they work well to keep my feet dry, but not warm. As others have stated, they do run a bit large; I typically wear a size 7.5-8 so I ordered a size 7, and with a thick pair of socks, they fit pretty well. The inside liner is nice, because it’s soft, with a thin layer of velvet, which isn’t typical of most boots. The pattern is great, so they get two thumbs up for the design, but the buckle leaves a bit something to be desired. Overall, I would say that they’re a great buy, but I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they’re not amazingly comfortable on your feet, but so far, they do their job!
